After the tremendous success of our inaugural festival, the committee is already hard at work putting together another fantastic lineup for Joanie Madden’s May Day Festival 2027, happening over the May Bank Holiday Weekend in the wonderful town of Miltown Malbay, in the musical heart of County Clare.

We have lots of exciting plans in the works and you won’t want to miss it!

The committee from the first annual Joanie Madden’s May Day Festival having a beautiful celebration dinner at the Old Bakehouse Restaurant in Miltown Malbay! Thank you so much Eddie and Irene!

We are thrilled with the wonderful response from the fantastic weekend we all had and we are busy plotting and planning for May Bank Holiday for 2027 already!!!!! Mark your Calendars!!!!!

Did you know that The Burren and Cliffs Explorer will run for the second year of it’s pilot project from the 21st of May - 20th September 2026. There will be a stop in Miltown Malbay that will bring you all the way to the Cliffs of Moher and back...for free! Hop on this Summer, and enjoy the local scenery.
