On behalf of everyone in Balyna Community Games, we extend our deepest sympathies to Teresa's family. Teresa gave so much to the children of Kildare, and Balyna was no exception. We are deeply grateful for her support over the years.

Great representation from Balyna and Carbury at the ball throw and long puck competitions. Saoirse and Cara won medals in U12 girls ball throw, and Saoirse will represent Kildare in All-Ireland. Eoin, Conor, Cormac, Mícheál and Seamus were just outside the medals in very competitive ball throw and long puck competitions

Big congratulations to our Art and Handwriting winners from Killina, Broadford, Kilshanroe and Clogherinkoe.

Top 2 entries in each competition from Balyna-Carbury will be sent to Kildare competition, and hopefully we'll have some representatives in the All-Irelands again this year

Great away win by under 10s in first round of Leinster community games at Kilbridge GAA field day.

Their opposition, Lakeside, are made up of 4 wicklow teams and were excellent hosts. The teams were led out to the match by bagpipes in what set the tone for an exceptional game of football

Balyna were 16 points up at one stage before a spirited come back in last quarter .

Balyna will play the Dublin champions in the next round

Balyna kildare 6 - 10
Lakeside wicklow 5 - 7

Congratulations to our 28 athletes who represented Balyna Community Games at the Kildare County Athletics competition. We were so proud to see you all out there competing with determination and heart in the gorgeous sunshine!

🥈 Amelia – 2nd place in the 60m
🏅 Seánóg – 4th in the 200m
🥉 U14 Girls 4x100m Relay – 3rd place
