The Slatterys Sessions is a music night in Slatterys of Dublin 4 starting this month on the 26th and we hope to eventually make it a weekly/fortnightly occurrence.
I want to lean towards a pared back sound with acts ranging from one to three people with a heavy focus but not limited to original music but I will try accommodate any acts I can, It's a great learning experience for myself
Hoping to get four acts in a night.Slots will be 30-40 minutes with the last slot of the night lasting between and hour and an hour 20 minutes. With an open mic/ karaoke finish as the night fizzles out hoping any audience member might give us a tune or two with the house instruments.
Everyone who plays will be paid but as of right now I don't know how much I can exactly as I have not done this before but I don't plan to take any cut until I learn to do this properly so I am confident I will be able to compensate people fairly from the get go.
The charge in will be 5 euro but this includes a bottle(which is 5 euro itself) and a small branded memento ranging from plecs to pens! I'm hoping to have something different to hand out for each night!
