Looking back on such an amazing day last Sunday 😎 thanks so much to each and everyone of you who came along and took part in our fundraiser for the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation in memory of our mum Mary 💛 such an amazing turnout, from runners to walkers, buggies to scooters, and not forgetting the large number of 4 legged friends who took part also 🐶

We were delighted to go up to the Mayo hospice in Castlebar this week to meet with Martina and do the cheque presentation from our fundraiser 🤩 it’s an amazing place, and we are so happy to be able to help them with their work 🤗 thank you once again to everyone who has supported us both this year, and last year 🙌🏻 we truly appreciate it!

Lovely Lacken 5km Fun Run/Walk in memory of Mary Farrell second anniversary commenced at Bessies Bar, Kilcummin in April earlier this year.
The event was a huge success with over 100 participants despite the poor weather. Later in the evening a raffle took place with over 30 prices given away which were kindly donated by locals and businesses. The auction of Charlie the Calf stole the show and sold for €1,100.
Total raised on the night was an incredible €10,800. A massive thank you to everyone involved on this special day

🥁‼️Drumroll Please‼️🥁

We are delighted to reveal that we have received a massive donation of €2000 from W & R Barnett and the Symphony group 🤩 the donation comes from their new charity matching scheme. We are so thankful to them for supporting our charity event, and for making such a massive donation to the hospice 🙌🏻 So adding their donation to what we have raised already, we are absolutely thrilled and proud to say our grand total for this years ‘Lovely Lacken 5km Fun Run/Walk’ is a whopping €10,800!!!! All these funds go directly to the wonderful Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation🌻 we are doing the cheque presentation next week so stay tuned for some pics 📸
