Clubeo We want to encourage a variety of songwriting so the stage is open to all to showcase their talents.

Based at Leo's Tavern in Crolly, Co Donegal, Clubeo is a regular monthly night for emerging and enthusiastic singers, songwriters, musicians and bands to perform and showcase their music in an encouraging, vibrant and entertaining environment. Launched by Clannad's Moya Brennan, Clubeo is supported by notable local musicians and performers including Donall MacRuiari and Ian Smith and was born from

a passion to give a stage to performers who might not otherwise have one. We also want to place a special emphasis on Irish language singing and writing. Gaelic language and tradition is an integral part of the modern local culture and we hope that this will become evident in performances. Regular special guest artists will be a feature of the club, some of whom will host songwriting workshops.

We’re thrilled to announce that Dea Matrona will headline Clubeo on Friday, 29th of May! 🎸✨

Fronted by Orláith Forsythe and Mollie McGinn, Dea Matrona burst onto the Irish music scene in 2018 with their electrifying blend of alternative rock, dark romance, mystical vibes, and wild feminine energy. Inspired by legends like Fleetwood Mac and Led Zeppelin, this is a night of live music you won’t want to miss.

Moya’s wish after 14 years was to continue with Clubeo. Clubeo will continue, but as a mark of respect for Moya, April’s Clubeo is now cancelled and we will return to honour Moya’s wish on the 29th of May 2026.

On behalf of everyone at Clubeo, we extend our deepest and most sincere condolences to Tim, Aisling, Paul, Baba, Bartley, and the entire Jarvis and Brennan families on the loss of a true legend, our dearly loved Moya Brennan.
Her kindness, warmth, generosity, and friendly spirit left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Moya was always uplifting, supportive, and truly wished the very best for everyone.
She will be sorely missed, and her spirit will forever have a special place in our hearts. ❤️🕯🙏...........
