We're excited to share how this yearโs ๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ผ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ถ trophies were created!

Each trophy began as a digital sculpture, modelled in ๐๐น๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ. This allowed Olga to craft the shapes with precision and creativity before bringing them into the physical world.

The trophies were printed using ๐ฃ๐๐ (๐ฝ๐ผ๐น๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฑ) filament โ a material thatโs often misunderstood.

Itโs a bioplastic made from ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ like cornstarch or sugarcane.
By choosing PLA, we reduced reliance on petrochemical plastics and keeping the footprint of the trophies low and giving everyone a unique reminder of the first Irish SpoGomi Event. We even have one in Japan, keeping company with the other Nippon Spogomi awards!
Thanks to everyone who took part โ youโre helping make our world a little cleaner. ๐โจ
