We’re delighted to announce that Belmullet Festival 2027 will take place from Saturday 14th August to Sunday 22nd August! 🎉

🎉A huge GRMA / THANK YOU to everyone who played a part in making Belmullet Festival 2026 what it was. To Mayo County Council, Belmullet Gardaí, Order of Malta, RNLI, Belmullet Sea Angling Club, Erris United, Jason Heneghan, Vermilion, Údarás na Gaeltachta, Sean Carey, Gerry Coyle, Homeland, Moffatt’s School of Irish Dancing, our brilliant musicians, Barna Waste, our amazing volunteer group and all of the local businesses, organisations and individuals who helped out along the way, we genuinely couldn’t have done it without ye.👏

To everyone who came along, supported the events, danced, sang, laughed, brought the kids, met up with friends and made the most of the weekend — THANK YOU! 🥰

🦆 The Iorras Aontaithe Duck Race is back once again this year! 🦆

It will close out the Belmullet Festival on Monday 17th at 7:30pm, with the ducks setting off from the Foot Bridge.

🎟️ Entries can be purchased:

• Today on Heritage Day at our stall

• Fair Day on Saturday outside Carey’s Newsagents on Main Street

• Monday evening at the Foot Bridge, where Duck Cards will also be available for those who wish to enter on the day

We have a fantastic selection of prizes worth over €1,000 up for grabs this year, thanks to our wonderful sponsors:
