Since 1608, Banagher has had its horse fair. But some naysayers have tried to stop it over the past few years, first to move it out of town, and then stop it altogether. We are the silent majority, and we will not let our shared heritage, of Gaelic Irish, Anglo Irish and Traveller Irish become just another memory!

More Guards at Banagher Horse fair than at Trump visit Co Clare !⚡🐴

Visit the Fairs in West of Ireland Cork and Kerry and witness zero interference from State Forces. Same country different tactics: Fair Day is a charter given right!

# BanagherHorseFair only Fair in Ireland when State Forces tell visitors to pack up.

While streets are to be cleaned - paid for with OUR taxes - that should be after 6pm. The fair naturally closes around then.

Its important respect is kept for Gardai - and many were excellent - but the "Shut Up Shop" brigade did rep of force no favours.

Traders have travelled long distances to earn tight margins as much for the love of the Fair as profit. Many very angry. Local reps are being breifed on this.
