PlayPlus Indonesia is a Project initiated by IELSP Alumni Yogyakarta. PlayPlus Indonesia is the winner of Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund 2013, project competition sponsored by US Department of State - US Embassy of Indonesia. The objective of PlayPlus Indonesia is to preserved traditional games of Indonesia that has philosophy and educations values. This project conducted a workshop in 6 Provin
ce, they are Aceh, Yogyakarta, South Borneo, NTB, South Sulawesi and Maluku. In addition, PlayPlus Indonesia also produce an Encyclopedia of Indonesian Traditional Games and A Tutorial Video. 500 of Encyclopedia books and 500 of Video Tutorial will be distributed to all over Indonesia. On January 2014, PlayPlus Indonesia would present a Traditional Games Festival that would invite kids to playing traditional games. About 300 volunteers will take a part of this event and conducted in 6 cities. Parents, teacher and everyone can join the Festival and bring our childhood memorıes back!
