Brewery De Halve Maan is the Official B**r Partner of the 2027 Hong Kong Dragon World Championship.

The brewery has brewed in Bruges since 1856 and is now in the hands of its sixth generation. Brugse Zot Blonde and Sport Zot, the alcohol-free b**r, will be poured at official functions, sailor socials, hospitality and the prizegivings.

Xavier Vanneste, Managing Director of Brewery De Halve Maan: “Bruges and Hong Kong are both cities shaped by their global outlook and strong cultural identities.”

The Championship runs from 21 to 29 November 2026, hosted by the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and presented by the Hong Kong Dragon Association.

Chalmers W**es has made a limited edition just for this championship: Col Fondo, a barrel fermented Aglianico rosé from Heathcote in Victoria.

Col Fondo means “with the bottom”. The w**e finishes its second fermentation in the bottle and stays on its lees, so it pours cloudy on purpose. Dry, savoury, creamy, with a fine fizz that keeps going. The neck label carries the RHKYC and championship marks.

Poured at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club receptions and presentations through the regatta.
