2024三項鐵人世界盃香港站開幕儀式今日喺金紫荊廣場舉行。開幕儀式以香港特色為主題，包含舞龍舞獅等傳統文化原素，突顯本次賽事文體合壁，以體育聯繫社區。一眾主禮嘉賓包括中國香港三項鐵人總會會長兼亞洲三項鐵人聯盟副主席周俏男小姐、香港旅遊發展局盛事拓展專組總經理譚美玲女士、立法會議員林筱魯先生、保良局主席陳黎惠蓮女士，以及世界三項鐵人聯盟(財務及巿場) 副主席大塚眞一郎先生，齊為金龍以及醒獅點睛，寓意賽事順利；同時，大會亦邀來保良局林文燦英文小學跳繩隊為開幕儀式表演，增添氣氛，在大戰前夕讓一眾運動員放鬆心情。 🎉🎉

The 2024 World Triathlon Cup - Hong Kong is set to take place tomorrow at the Central and Wan Chai waterfront. Today, the organizers held the official opening ceremony at the Golden Bauhinia Square.
The opening ceremony, themed around the uniqueness of Hong Kong, showcased traditional cultural elements such as dragon and lion dances, highlighting the fusion of sports and culture at this event, which aims to connect the community through athletics. Distinguished guests in attendance included Ms. Chau Chiu Nam, President of the Triathlon Association of Hong Kong China and Vice President of the Asian Triathlon, Ms. Marilyn Tham, General Manager of the Mega Event Development and Advancement at the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Mr Andrew Lam, member of the Legislative Council, Ms. Winnie W L Chan, Chairperson of the Po Leung K*k, and Mr. Shin Otsuka, Vice President (Finance and Marketing) of the World Triathlon. Together, they performed the ceremonial eye-dotting for the dragon and lions in bringing good luck for the event. Additionally, the opening ceremony featured a performance by the skipping rope team from the Po Leung K*k Lam Man Chan English Primary School, adding to the festive atmosphere. 🎉🎉
