From directing TV sets to directing cargo movements, Shazil found a new kind of storytelling in freight.
After studying filmmaking and working as an art director, Shazil Asad Farooqui discovered that what he really enjoyed wasn’t sitting behind a desk. It was meeting people, tackling unexpected problems, and making things work.
Freight forwarding gave him exactly that.
Some days meant finding a way to move a cracked container filled with heavy ball bearings without damaging the cargo.Other days carried something much more important.
One of his most memorable shipments was a small delivery of blood cultures for a patient in the ICU. Getting them there on time meant the test results could be available when they were needed most.
That’s what Shazil loves about logistics: no two days are alike, every shipment has a story, and sometimes, the work you do can make a real difference.
From unexpected challenges to meeting people from different corners of the world, (including handling live animal shipments), there’s always something new around the corner.
