香港 Shoegaze 代表 Lucid Express Lucid Express 將擔任紐約 indie-pop 傳奇 The Pains of Being Pure At Heart 11 月 10 號 PORTAL 香港專場嘅開場嘉賓！
呢個組合本身就已經好浪漫 —— Brooklyn 傳奇重返香港，而為佢哋開場嘅，正係簽落 Brooklyn 廠牌、將香港聲音帶到世界嘅本地樂隊。
故事由 2014 年開始，當年佢哋叫 Thud：五個中學生擠喺葵興細細嘅 band 房，追逐一片大到房間裝唔落嘅音牆。七年後，樂隊以 Lucid Express 重生，經 Kanine Records 發行同名專輯，兩首代表作〈North Action〉同 〈Hotel 65〉，將一個本地秘密變成國際名字。
此後兩度巡演美國，走遍歐洲及東南亞，登上 Clockenflap、LEVITATION、Slide Away 舞台，並與 Beach Fossils、The Cribs、Yuck 同場，其後再推出第二張專輯。

Hong Kong shoegaze royalty Lucid Express will open for Brooklyn indie-pop legends The Pains of Being Pure At Heart at PORTAL on 10 Nov!
There’s a poetic symmetry here — Brooklyn legends return to Hong Kong, welcomed by the local band who signed to a Brooklyn label and carried our city’s sound out to the world.
They started in 2014 as Thud: five teenagers in a cramped Kwai Hing band room, chasing a wall of noise bigger than the room could hold. Seven years later they were reborn as Lucid Express, releasing their self-titled debut on Kanine Records — led by the twin heartbreakers “North Action” and “Hotel 65”, the songs that turned a local secret into an international one. Under The Radar called it “kaleidoscopic dream pop.” KEXP called it “shimmery shoegaze jams.”
Since then: two US tours, runs across Europe and Southeast Asia, stages at Clockenflap, LEVITATION and Slide Away, bills with Beach Fossils, The Cribs and Yuck — and a second album, their most assured songwriting yet.
