Magic Room — Beijing — Great Wall Festival Stage Takeover

Last weekend, Magic Room arrived at the foot of the Great Wall for our first event in mainland China.

Together with Great Wall Festival, we curated a lineup that felt true to the Magic Room spirit — bringing our world of house music into a setting that made this chapter feel especially unique for us.

The weather shifted constantly, rain moved through the mountains, but the energy on the dancefloor never changed. Thank you to everyone who stayed with us through it all.

Mira, Echonomist, UVITA, Manti, Leon, Mo-Shi, Milam, Nat Dunn, and Xia Ke carried this one from start to finish.

Artist Spotlight: Mira

From Berlin’s underground to some of the world’s most respected dancefloors, Mira has spent over two decades shaping a sound built on emotion, depth, and connection. Long associated with Bar25 and Kater Blau, her sets move between hypnotic grooves and soulful moments.

Magic Room, Great Wall Festival Stage Takeover — Great Wall Valley— China

Some places don’t need introduction. They carry their own weight.

After 7 years, Great Wall Festival returns — and for the first time, Magic Room steps onto the Wall with a dedicated stage takeover.

A structure once built to divide, now becoming a space for connection — this moment reflects everything we stand for. Taking the spirit of Asia beyond borders, and bringing it back into one shared experience.

Our curation brings together artists from across the spectrum — local voices and international names — shaping a night that moves between cultures, sounds, and stories.

Magic Room — Hong Kong — AIA Vitality Park

Five years ago, this started quietly - in the underground, built between people, not platforms.

Last weekend, we stood front and center on the Hong Kong harbour - celebrating our 5 year anniversary in the city where it all started.

From where we began to where we are now - this one meant something.

We started Magic Room as a way to rediscover the diversity of our home - the people, the energy, the sound - and we couldn’t think of a better place to mark that than here, with the skyline behind us and the harbour carrying the night forward.

Musumeci B2B Lehar marked a first for us - our first B2B headliner. Radeckt brought the Magic Room spirit, while Nat Dunn and the Nodes family carried it forward - turning the night into what Magic Room has always been about.

Familiar faces. New energy. One community.

Our final Hong Kong show of the season - and a chapter we won’t forget.
