Το Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos είναι τριήμερο διεθνές φεστιβάλ κινηματογράφου, φωτογραφίας, μουσικής και τοπικής κουλτούρας στον Πολιχνίτο, 3–5 Ιουλίου 2026. Ελεύθερη είσοδος. Δωρεάν για όλους.

Κάθε ευρώ πηγαίνει απευθείας στη διοργάνωση. Το φεστιβάλ στηρίζεται από ανθρώπους και επιχειρήσεις που πιστεύουν ότι ένα μέρος σαν τον Πολιχνίτο αξίζει ναι είναι στο κέντρο της σύγχρονης διεθνούς δημιουργίας.

The Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos runs 3–5 July 2026 in Polichnitos, southern Lesvos. Three days of film, photography, music, and local culture creation, with 30 local, Greek and international artists. Free entry throughout.

The festival runs on the support of people and businesses who believe that a place like Polichnitos deserves to be at the centre of cultural creation. Every contribution goes directly to the programme — locals, diaspora, friends of the island from anywhere in the world.

Skala Polichnitou: where the festival meets the sea.

At the edge of the Gulf of Kalloni, Skala Polichnitou carries the memory of boats, fishermen, salt, wind and slow coastal life. For generations, the sea was not only a landscape, it was work, food, rhythm, community and survival.

The old harbour, the fishing boats, the salt pans and the rituals around the table tell the story of a place shaped by water and human hands.

During PCFL26, Skala Polichnitou becomes part of the festival’s living map: a place for encounters by the sea, local stories, fishing tradition, salt, memory and a shared experience of photography exhibition, cinema and music.

Σκάλα Πολιχνίτου: εκεί όπου το φεστιβάλ συναντά τη θάλασσα.

Στην άκρη του Κόλπου της Καλλονής, η Σκάλα Πολιχνίτου κουβαλά τη μνήμη των καϊκιών, των ψαράδων, του αλατιού, του ανέμου και της αργής ζωής δίπλα στη θάλασσα . Για γενιές, η θάλασσα δεν ήταν μόνο ένα τοπίο, ήταν η δουλειά τους, η τροφή, ο ρυθμός της κοινότητα και η επιβίωση.

Το παλιό λιμάνι, οι ψαρόβαρκες, οι αλυκές και οι τελετουργίες γύρω από το τραπέζι αφηγούνται την ιστορία ενός τόπου σμιλεμένου από το νερό και τα ανθρώπινα χέρια.

Στο Πολιτιστικό Φεστιβάλ Πολιχνίτου, η Σκάλα Πολιχνίτου γίνεται μέρος του ζωντανού χάρτη του φεστιβάλ: ένας τόπος για συναντήσεις δίπλα στη θάλασσα, έμπνευσης απο τοπικές ιστορίες και παράδοση, αλάτι, μνήμη και μια κοινή εμπειρία μέσα απο Φωτογραφικές Εκθέσεις, Κινηματογράφο και Μουσική.

Before it was a festival, it was memory.
Polichnitos carries stories in its streets, its stone houses, its music, its families and its everyday rituals.
The Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos begins from these traces and turns them into a living cultural meeting point for Lesvos, the North Aegean and Greece.
For three days, the village opens itself to cinema, photography, music, gastronomy, workshops, walks, local stories and community life.

Πριν γίνει φεστιβάλ, ήταν μνήμες.
Ο Πολιχνίτος κουβαλά ιστορίες στους δρόμους του, στα πέτρινα σπίτια του, στη μουσική, στις οικογένειες και στις καθημερινές του τελετουργίες.
Το Πολιτιστικό Φεστιβάλ Πολιχνίτου Λέσβου PCFL26 ξεκινά από αυτά τα ίχνη και τα μετατρέπει σε ένα ζωντανό πολιτιστικό σημείο συνάντησης για τη Λέσβο, το Βόρειο Αιγαίο και την Ελλάδα.
Για τρεις ημέρες, το χωριό ανοίγεται στο σινεμά, τη φωτογραφία, τη μουσική, τη γαστρονομία, τα εργαστήρια, τους περιπάτους, τις τοπικές ιστορίες και την κοινότητα.

Polichnitos has always been more than a village.
It has been a place of memory, craft, music, family, architecture, everyday rituals and shared life.
Through these archival images, we return to the traces of a place that shaped generations and ask what it can become again.
The Polichnitos Cultural Festival Lesvos is born from this idea: that small places are not forgotten places. They are spaces of culture, connection and future possibility.
From 3-5 July 2026, Polichnitos opens its doors to cinema, photography, music, gastronomy, workshops, walks, local stories and community life.

Ο Πολιχνίτος ήταν πάντα κάτι περισσότερο από ένα χωριό.
Ήταν τόπος μνήμης, τέχνης, μουσικής, οικογένειας, αρχιτεκτονικής, καθημερινών τελετουργιών και κοινής ζωής.
Μέσα από αυτές τις αρχειακές εικόνες, επιστρέφουμε στα ίχνη ενός τόπου που διαμόρφωσε γενιές και αναρωτιόμαστε τι μπορεί να ξαναγίνει.
Το Πολιτιστικό Φεστιβάλ Πολιχνίτου Λέσβου PCFL26 γεννιέται από αυτή την ιδέα: ότι οι μικροί τόποι δεν είναι ξεχασμένοι τόποι. Είναι χώροι πολιτισμού, σύνδεσης και μελλοντικής δυνατότητας.
Από τις 3 έως τις 5 Ιουλίου 2026, ο Πολιχνίτος ανοίγει τις πόρτες του στο σινεμά, τη φωτογραφία, τη μουσική, τη γαστρονομία, τα εργαστήρια, τους περιπάτους, τις τοπικές ιστορίες και την κοινότητα.
