TONGU OPEN WATER TRAINING PROGRAM.

TOWTP
The Tongu Open Water training program is an initiative to develop aquatic sports at the grassroot level in communities
living near to waterbodies but do not necessarily access it.
AIMS
Increase participation in aquatic sports.
The programmes seeks to provide resources to help young swimmers experience opportunities involved swimming and its health
benefits, and to launch the journeys of future aquatics stars.
It's our goal to Identify young sporty talents and to give them a chance to make a career outside the region,country and on other International platforms.
OBJECTIVE
The program sought to develop a collaborative
approach from a range of sports and activities to provide clearer information and enhanced
opportunities in the lead up to and throughout the program's life span.
This project is aimed at increasing health enhancing physical activity especially for those at
risk of social and economic isolation through the use of water based sports and activities.
These involves a collaborative work at the grassroot level,regional,national and international level to promote opportunities
for long term and sustainable engagement of our youth in sport and physical activities in, on or adjacent to water through the promotion of water based sports during and after the program.
PROGRAM DURATION
This would be a Month of Open water swim training program for young swimmers.
The program will foster training activities on four major water based sports.This includes;
Water Swim training.
