The Gert Gathering 2025 - Terms and Conditions
Entry to this event is by ticket only, these should have either been obtained prior to the event or should be purchased on the gate, however they are a higher price. Please have your tickets ready for scanning. There is a chance that you may be challenged for ID at the gate, unfortunately if you are unable to provide any, you may be refused entry/or charged the difference for the correct ticket.
All guests will be given a given a wrist band which must be worn at all times and produced if requested. Anyone without a wristband may be asked to leave or purchase a new ticket. Children under 5 must wear a wristband with contact details provided.
The Gert Gathering is a member of Yeovil Pub Watch, please be advised that if you are on the current ban list you will be refused entry, this will not be reported as a breach, no refunds will be given.
Under 18’s MUST be accompanied by an adult, this is a condition of entry & our license, they must also NOT leave the event without an appropriate adult.
No alcohol is permitted into the event other than by the license holder & his deputies. Full searches will take place on all items bought into the event by you, if alcohol is found you will either be asked to return this to your vehicle or it will be disposed of by our security team, it will NOT be returned to you. Sealed bottled water is permitted, free drinking water is available on site. Food & drink is not permitted – unless authorised by the organiser. NO glass of any kind or metal cutlery is permitted.
Bag & personal searches are a condition of entry & our license (please note this is NOT random) if you are found to be in possession of any illegal substances or banned items, the item will be confiscated and you may be refused entry. If you deny the right to be searched you WILL be refused entry, no refunds will be given. If any illegal substances are found, you will be detained and the police may be called.
As we live in the UK the weather can be unpredictable, please wear or bring suitable footwear, clothing and UV protection.
Gazebos & large umbrellas are not permitted. Chairs are permitted but you may be asked to move these when the site becomes busier.
Special FX & strobe lighting may operate at this event.
Please bring your ID, as it may be required at the gate or bars.
Please note there will be photographers and film crews on site throughout the day; by entering the site you explicitly agree to your images being used on future marketing platforms.
Our bars only take tokens. Tokens can be purchased using cash or card (cash is preferred) The food vendors, stalls and cocktail bar accept cash & card.
Please always keep your valuables and personal belongings Safe. We will not be responsible for any loss and we advise leaving these at home.
Please treat all of our staff and volunteers with respect.
Lastly, enjoy the event, look after yourselves and each other. If you have any concerns please speak to a member of the management, security team or Crew.

• Aerosols (over 250ml)
• Air horns/megaphones – unless authorised by the organiser
• Animals (except registered hearing or guide dogs)
• Any goods for unauthorised trading with unauthorised The Gert Gathering logos
• Any item that could be considered for use as a weapon, including oversized lighters or any item which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person
• Balloons
• Blow torches
• Professional cameras or video equipment (lenses must be less than 6 inches) – unless authorised by the organiser
• Campfires - Campfires are not allowed anywhere at the festival. Anyone seen creating or fuelling a fire will be evicted from the festival site
• Catapults
• Chinese/Sky/Paper Lanterns
• Items promoting cultural appropriation
• Both disposable and non-disposable BBQs, disposable vapes, drones and other flying devices are not allowed
• Fireworks/pyrotechnics, flares/distress flares
• Generators – unless authorised by the organiser
• Glass bottles, jars, containers over 100ml are also prohibited. Small items under this measurement, such as perfume bottles, nail varnish, and small mirrors will be permitted
• Illegal substances (drugs) and legal highs, herbal highs, new psychoactive substances and unidentifiable substances - including Nitrous Oxide are strictly forbidden
• Leatherman style multi tools – unless authorised by the organiser
• Penknives
• Perfume and makeup (over 100ml)
• Petrol burners
• Portable laser equipment and pens are also not allowed
• Skateboards and rollerblades, hover-boards, scooters, bicycles, and other personal motorised and non-motorized vehicles are banned
• Sound systems – unless authorised by the organiser
• Spray cans
• Unauthorised solicitation or marketing materials
• Unofficial tabards and reflective jackets
• Walkie talkies or unauthorised radio equipment are also not permitted – unless authorised by the organiser
