Is your kitchen looking a little too familiar lately? Give the oven a break and join us at Power Park for The Big Lunch at St Peter’s Festival!

We’ve got enough food stalls to satisfy even the pickiest toddler and enough free entertainment to keep you from doom-scrolling for at least four hours, including:

Worcestershire Rock Schools

Bands, choirs and soloists all afternoon long, including Reba - the solo band, Steve as Buble - Michael Bublé Tribute and Fret Stomper

Circus Skills Workshop with steve kaos & circus kaos

Imogen Gunter - Aerial Inspirations

Severn Arts and the Music Box van

The Wild Things with circus silliness and crafts for kids and accompanied adults

Raffle, Tombola and Plant stall raising funds for Acorns Children's Hospice

WALKIES. Do you have a Sheltie with Enchanting eyes? A Golden Oldie Retriever or a rehomed Rottie that is simply the best rescue dog you ever did see? If you're coming along to Power Park for St Peter's Festival today, bring your best bitch or most handsome dog along to the Dog Ring fifteen minutes before their class and do something different. Home Run Hounds have organised some gorgous rosettes for 1st to 4th placed in each class, with trophies and glittery rosettes for Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show.

Thanks to Home Run Hounds Greyhound Charity for all of their help organising this year's Fun Dog Show for us again.

Tomorrow we celebrate St Peter's with our annual festival and this year our neighbourhood is joining in with The Big Lunch, besides enjoying circus-themed entertainment whatever the weather .

🎪That said, some attractions may be affected if we do get any showers during the afternoon. (Our app reckons there's a possibility after 6pm at the moment.) 🎪

When our Head of Juggling shared this little video with the Ringmaster earlier this week, he thought it was a bit of fun. And it's going to be a very long night at Circus HQ so we'll go with anything right now.

In addition to the usual 'Main Stage', there will be live performers and entertainment across the site of the Big Lunch and our Festival for St Peter's on 07/06/26.

🙌🏻 Look out for details of Worcestershire Rock Schools, more performances by Cherry Orchard Primary School, the band from St Peter's Baptist Church, and St Peter's own blues guitarist Gary Griffiths plating in the Silver Zone.

What's The Big Lunch all about?

We are marking The Big Lunch and calling on people from across our community to join in with our celebration of St Peter's at Power Park tomorrow. There's no public parking on site and we need to keep local roads clear for access.

Whether you pack a picnic or grab some grub from the amazing food sellers we have on site, please come along and join in, dining your way and enjoying the entertainment and community groups and activities.

Anyone with questions about accessibility or a blue badge, please DM us ahead of the day because we would love to see you there to join in with your local community get-together.. We have tried to make the event inclusive and as accessible as possible, with lots of seating around the site and a huge circus slide that adults can go on too. We are truly sorry if this week's communication has not reflected that. 😪

Worcester Sea Cadets & Royal Marine Cadets are so impressive and really great role models for our younger audience.

Worcestershire Rock Schools will run a stage with some of their performers and emerging talent on our new stage in the Activity Zone.

And WORCESTERSHIRE WILDLIFE TRUST have an information stand about their work protecting nature and connecting wildlife in Worcestershire and they would love to get you involved if nature and out environment is important to you.

West Mercia Police will be present on Power Park for the festival and our local PCSO will be on hand to answer your questions. Sadly the cadets can't be with us this time but there will be a van, which we know is always an attraction with the flashing lights and 'nee naws'. Find them at the corner of the Activity Zone 'K'.

WORCESTER CITY COUNCIL'S Waste and Recycling information and activities will be at the top end of the food court, just in Zone I. Take part in their 'Trash pants' challenge.

Worcestershire County Council have a gazebo promoting their Love Volunteering Worcestershire portal in 'Community Corner' (Zone C) and Stacey would love to tell you about some of the great opportunities to do your bit in a community near you.

Worcester City FC are back with their 'Beat the Goalie' challenge, which is always good fun and not just for the kids! (Take your turn in the Activity Zone - where else?)
