The Last Scattering Surface

The Last Scattering Surface The Last Scattering Surface - An Exhibition of Contemporary Art inspired by the beginnings of light in our universe - will be at No Format Gallery

This is an exciting exhibition that explores the interface between art and science. Four artists, Fiona Athanassaki, Hartash Dale, Stella Harding and Susan Kinley working in the disciplines of painting, print making, mixed media and three dimensional weaving, to create works inspired by cosmology.
'The Last Scattering Surface refers to the boundary point in the history of our universe, a horizon i

n cosmic time, from when light first emerged and began its journey. The artists have taken this concept as a starting point for their response to the theme of a transparent universe, in which light travels through time.
