🤔is this proof of life after life?

For centuries, many scientists believed birds were nothing more than mindless imitators of sounds. Everything changed in 1977, when Dr. Irene Pepperberg bought an African grey parrot from a pet store, named him Alex, and began research that would completely transform the way people viewed animal intelligence.

Over more than 30 years, Alex learned over 100 words. He could recognize colors, shapes, and materials, perform simple calculations, and even understand the concept of zero. When he became bored with tests, he would sometimes intentionally give wrong answers or demand to go back to his cage. But the most extraordinary moment came when he looked into a mirror and asked, “What color?” He was asking about himself, something considered one of the most remarkable behaviors ever observed in an animal.

Yet the most emotional moment came on his final evening. As Dr. Pepperberg was putting him back into his cage, Alex repeated the words he told her every day: “Be good. I love you. See you tomorrow.” That night, he unexpectedly died in his sleep. He was only 31 years old, even though African grey parrots in captivity can live much longer.

A 600-year-old nun still sits upright. Scientists can't explain it.

The mummified body of St. Catherine of Bologna, born in 1413, sits upright on a golden throne, wearing a nun's habit, her black hands clutching a golden cross and a Bible.

Her physical remains still baffle scientists who cannot explain why, after more than 500 years, her body has retained a level of flexibility attributed to that of a living person.

Catherine was the Abbess of the Poor Clare nuns at the Corpus Domini convent in Bologna at the time of her death in 1463. She was buried in the convent graveyard, but exhumed 18 days later after the nuns noticed a sweet smell coming from the tomb. What they found inside shocked everyone.

Her body was found to be astonishingly untouched by death, deemed "incorrupt," reported to be "fully flexible" and still emanating a sweet scent.

A nun later reported that Catherine had appeared to her in a vision asking to be placed in the chapel sitting upright. The nuns dressed her in a habit, placed a golden cross in her hands, and sat her in an elegant golden chair where she remains today.

During her lifetime, St. Catherine was said to have been tormented by gruesome visions of the crucifixion, the last judgment, and the devil's tricks. She was a talented painter and gifted musician and is the patron saint of artists.

Saint Catherine was beatified in 1524 by Pope Clement VII and canonized on May 22, 1712 by Pope Clement XI. Miraculous cures attributed to her were carefully recorded and amounted to 160 by the time she became a saint.

She has watched over Bologna for over half a millennium and shows no signs of leaving.
