As we prepare to return to Walsall Arboretum for another incredible weekend of outdoor arts, we've been looking back at some of the amazing performances that made last year's festival so special. From local favourites to touring companies such as Linden Dance, WOW! Fest brought together outstanding artists, inspiring performances for a truly unforgettable celebration of outdoor dance and performance.

This year, we're back with a brand-new programme packed with exciting talent, spectacular performances and creative experiences for audiences of all ages.

🌊✨ Only 5 weeks until WOW! Fest 2026! ✨🌊

We're excited to introduce our first headline performance, coming straight from the team behind WOW! Fest – Autin Dance Theatre. Out of the Deep Blue is a powerful and moving outdoor spectacle that tells the story of our planet's climate emergency through breathtaking dance, movement and masterful puppetry. At the heart of the performance is Eko, a magnificent 13-foot-tall Sea Giant puppet who emerges from the ocean to inspire audiences of all ages to reflect on our relationship with the natural world. This unforgettable production is perfect for children, families and anyone who loves spectacular outdoor theatre.

With just 7 weeks to go until WOW! Fest returns, the countdown to our summer celebration of outdoor dance, movement and performance has officially begun ✨
This July, Walsall Arboretum will once again transform into a vibrant space filled with creativity, connection and incredible performances. Now in its second edition, WOW! Fest showcases some of the very best dance and movement-based work being created across the Midlands, bringing together artists, communities and audiences of all ages for two unforgettable days in the open air.

Last July, we turned Walsall Arboretum into an incredible Celebration of Outdoor Dance & Performance - filling the park with movement, music and unforgettable moments.

Audiences experienced amazing performances from local companies including our own Autin Dance Theatre, Feet off the Ground, Mercurial Dance , Ascension UK, False Feet Stilts and Linden Dance Company.

Our Next Generation Stage shone brightly, featuring young talent from across the West Midlands; Linden Youth Dance Company, Fortis Academy and Sixth Form, Stowlawn Primary School and Connection Dance .

WOW! Fest 2025 was made possible thanks to the generous support and commitment from our team, community support, funders, partners & supporters
