What’s new @ The Runaway Train 2025 ?
📌 We are fortunate to have use of the Amulet as Race HQ.
📌 The Amulet will not only provide space, storage and weather protection but will also enable us to provide a bag drop facility.
📌 There will be x4 seperate starts for the 8.5 mile route. 10.15, 10.30, 10.45, 11.00. The 3 mile will remain with a single 11.15 start.
The starts will be on a ‘gun’ start so will start at exactly these times.
Each race start will have a different colour race bib. We will ensure only the colour assigned to that start time will be able to start in that colour start.
📌 We will have x2 digital race clocks at the finish line. X1 will be for the 3 mile route and x1 for the 8.5 mile route. The 8.5 mile clock will be calibrated for the 11.00 start.

📌 Registration in the morning on race day in The Market Place (times to be confirmed)
📌Toilet in The Market Place.
📌 Safety pins and race number provided.
📌 Start line at the end of Draycott Rd in the field.
📌 Hopefully the courses will be unchanged.
📌 Water and jelly baby stations.
📌 Finish in The Market Place.
📌 Boxty Feast with DJ, Pilton Cider bar, tables, benches and gazebos.
📌 Medals.
📌 Awards for 🥇🥈🥉 male and female on both distances. Catagory medals for 🥇 V40, V50, V60 both male and female on both distances.
