Established in 2011, Film Africa is London's biggest festival celebrating the best African cinema brought to you by the Royal African Society. Every other year, Film Africa brings diverse London audiences a core programme of fiction and documentary films alongside a vibrant series of accompanying events, including director Q&As, panel discussions, industry events, workshops and master classes, school screenings, family activities and Film Africa LIVE! Film Africa also recognises and supports film-making talent through The Baobab Award for Best Short Film, which is judged by a panel of film professionals, and the Film Africa Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature, which is selected by our audiences. Film Africa 2020 will take place from Friday, 30 October until Sunday, 8 November.
