I would like to congratulate Sharona on passing the Home Office Approved Licensing for Explosive Detection Dog Teams.

Three years ago, Sharona wasn't even sure whether she wanted to pursue a career in the security services industry. Before entering the sector, she worked in a role caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our society, demonstrating the compassion, dedication, and professionalism that continue to define her today.

Sharona brought a wealth of transferable skills into the industry, and as a mum, she arrived with the superpowers that only mothers seem to possess – resilience, determination, and the ability to excel under pressure.

I am incredibly proud of what Sharona has achieved. To reach the highest level in such a short period of time is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to her hard work, commitment, and professionalism.

Proud to announce that both Marlow and I have successfully passed the two-day NACTUS-P Essentials course licensed by Norfolk Constabulary.

The programme included a series of practical search exercises alongside a written assessment, designed to reinforce operational capability and professional standards within the EDD environment.
Now in my second year completing this accreditation, I continue to view it as one of the highest standards available for developing independent assets and enhancing understanding of how EDD teams operate effectively.

Initiatives such as this play an important role in raising standards across the security industry and, most importantly, supporting the safety and security of public events.
