Six panel digipak design for Matt Pearce & The Mutiny’s live album “Soul Food Served Live.” Featuring various design motifs that I created for the 2022 album “The Soul Food Store.” One of my favourite parts of working on projects like this is sourcing various textures - finding/making non-digital elements that add to the theme of an album can elevate the overall packaging and ultimately the experience of owning physical media.

I’m pleased to share the full design for Andy Jurik’s latest album, Tinto, as well as a closer look at how the artwork was created.

Every project with Andy has brought an opportunity to try something different from the last. This time around I was using fine liners and a masking tape stencil - always glad for any opportunity to be more hands-on as opposed to relying on software.

I’m really pleased to reveal my latest hand rendered logo work! Bramblewitch Farm is on its way to being a sanctuary on the Devon-Cornwall border. With an emphasis on nature, community and rehabilitation, Bramblewitch Farm will offer support to individuals who are navigating mental health challenges, while also providing care for rescued animals. Check out the 🔗 in the comments below to find out more.

I am so pleased to reveal the cover artwork for Andy Jurik’s latest album, Tinto, released yesterday! Once again Andy has pushed the boundaries combining classical guitar and popular music - his arrangement of Message in a Bottle by The Police is my personal favourite! A closer look at the creation of this artwork will be online soon.

I am really excited to share the cover artwork for Pete Izzard’s latest EP, “In Homage to the Setting Sun”, which is out today! Like the previous artworks I’ve made for Pete, the majority of the scene is created using photo montage, with an element of graphic illustration as the focal point - the linework here shows the full design of a Celtic inspired tree of life. This EP can be found on Pete’s Bandcamp page exclusively.

A few years ago I created this “SP” monogram for Canadian musician and educator, Samael Pelletier. I’m really pleased to see that this design is now a glow in the dark inlay on the fretboard and headstock of his new custom built Schwartz Guitar!

It’s not every day that you get to create cover artwork for a single by legendary harp guitarist Stephen Bennett, featuring Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson!

First appearing on Stephen’s 2023 album “SB”, Who Knew a Man of Honor Would be so Hard to Find has now been remixed and re-released as a single and bonus track on the vinyl version of Stephen’s latest album “Still Got It.” I was fortunate to get the opportunity to design the CD and vinyl for “Still Got It” earlier this year (featuring art prints by Bill Allen), which then inspired the way forward for this single.

I’ve been working with Jennifer Swann Coaching for about 18 months now. During this time I’ve provided artwork and design for a wide variety of projects and here is one where you can be involved.

Through her coaching services, Jennifer offers caregiving guidance from first hand experience to parents of children with disabilities. Her work has led her to now take on the brave challenge of creating a universal and inclusive symbol that encompasses all disability, without actually depicting a specific disability.

We’ve developed 3 symbols, one of these is pictured in this post. I’ll leave the link in the comments below where you can read more about this project, info for each symbol, and vote for the one that resonates most with you.

I’m very pleased to share the cover art for the latest release from Randall & Jayne Sprinkle of Musically Yours. This project required various illustrated elements, including numerous sets of hands and small portraits of the band members. The hands shown on the cover include those of the band members, as well as many from their friends and family. I’m always glad to make the most of the non-digital elements of a project like this - a few weeks spent illustrating hands and portraits was very enjoyable!
