🌍Biodiversity. All life depends on it.

Yet it is under such threat that scientists are calling this period the 6th Great Extinction.

Join Dr Kate Rawles in the Movements Story Tent Marquee to hear about her journey cycling the length of South America on Woody, her self built bamboo bike. Along the way she met courageous environmental defenders, discovered unexpected connections, explored why biodiversity loss matters so much and highlighted what we can all do to help protect it.

Kate’s work inspired the biodiversity theme of this year’s festival, so don’t miss this!

Travel is typically the largest source of carbon emissions at live events. We’re working to tackle these impacts and you can help us by choosing a lower-carbon option for your journey to Tropical Pressure 2026! ⬇️

🚌 We can get you to the festival in our FREE shuttle bus. The Shuttle Bus will run on Friday / Saturday / Sunday to and from Redruth Railway Station and on Monday morning from the festival. Please book a ticket in advance using this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc6ndvpaUdiXN0NRia7a62kuQRJJEs0NMmy_priJg9lkxR5PA/viewform

🚲 If you come by bike you can have a drink on us, just let our box office team know that you're a cyclist when you arrive.

🚗 Or get in on a car share to reduce your carbon emissions and arrive the sociable way! Check out our Tropical Connections! Facebook group to find or offer a lift share.

🌍 However, we know that cars and campers are still the most popular way to arrive. To address the environmental impact for 2026, £1.50 from your car parking pass and £3 from your live in vehicle pass goes to onboard:earth who channel your donations to support environmental outcomes.

🚐 If you are coming by car or van, please make sure you purchase the correct parking ticket when you're booking. We only have a handful of live in vehicle passes left - when they're gone, they're gone!

🚘 If an accessible parking space is required, please get in touch via email to apply for a space as soon as possible: [email protected]

🌴 THE DISAPPOINTMENTS 🌴

Back by popular demand… The Disappointments are a four piece Cornwall-based band featuring guitar, double bass, melodica, tight vocal harmonies and a driving backbeat in a Country / Folk / Rockabilly mix they call ‘FOLKABILLYBOOGIE’.

They're not afraid to throw Ska, Rock & Roll, Blues and Pop into the mix so long as it makes for a great song. Live, they're fresh, funny, relaxed and infectious. They love to play together and it shows.

This Earth Day, we celebrate the planet and commit to protecting its future. We are proud to take the Vision 2030 Climate Pledge, a nationwide call for festival organisers to step up and act on environmental impacts.

The mission is clear: we are aiming for a 50% reduction in industry emissions by 2030 using a shared blueprint for a resilient, sustainable festival industry, supported by the supply chain and government.

Our industry thrives on the beauty of the outdoors and the vibrancy of our communities. Let’s ensure they stay protected for generations to come.
