XAP XAP artists have a cross disciplinary practice and have been creating & collaborating since 2007.

For Wandsworth Arts Fringe Festival, 25th June - 11th July 2021, let us take you on a walk with a difference along the River Wandle! A 'Wandle Wonder Wander' is an augmented-reality geolocation-based walk towards the Thames, exploring change, renewal, loss and quiet resilience along this special waterway. As you walk, through your mobile device, fragments of sound, floating animations and text pun

cture the fabric of time momentarily, poking their past into your present. You can join the walk any time during the festival: https://xartsprojects.org/wandle-wonder-wander

Come and join our Guided River Walk Saturday 25th April 10 - 11am. Meet AL5 4UU

Last Saturday’s Guided River Walk led by Batford Springs Volunteers was the perfect way to learn about the history of this beautiful Nature Reserve and discover its plant and wildlife. Thank you Matt!

Sunday’s litter pick resulted in several bags of plastics, cans and paper being collected, preventing harm to our river - we even rescued a bike!

We’ve been delighted to welcome to this week! They’ve had fun learning about rivers and chalk streams and exploring the artwork.

In small groups they experienced writing poems, weaving plant leaves and interacting with the video installation to learn how our actions directly impact our rivers and chalk streams.
