Fire up your taste buds at this year’s fabulous Tonbridge Food & Drink Festival in the town’s beautiful castle grounds close to the banks of the picturesque River Medway. Try, taste and buy from more than 70 stallholders selling a delicious range of food and drink produced in and around Kent and from across t
he globe. Discover delicious cheeses, bread, cakes, sweet treats such as fudge and marshmallow; locally roasted coffee and specialist teas as well as other food-related stalls. This year’s foodie spectacular is being organised by the team behind Tonbridge Farmers Market, proud winners of the prestigious 2017 Taste of Kent Award for being Kent Farmers’ Market of the Year. We’ve got lots of fun activities planned to entertain the whole family including an exciting programme of cooking demonstrations from popular local chefs, food producers and local food writers. The best of Kent’s Young Chefs will also be showing off their skills and inspiring you with new dishes to make at home with produce bought at the Festival. And for the youngsters, there are some great events based around the Children’s Stage, where they’ll be able to try their hand at drawing on the Painting Wall, while the bravest can take part in the Disgusting Food Challenge! Rest and relax in the popular Street Food Café and perhaps try a taster menu from one of the stalls selling delicious homemade hot food including English, European, Asian and New World specialities made with quality produce.
