Little Scarlet Music Festival

We have decided to take a rest year in 2025.

We have held Little Scarlet Music Festival on the Tiptree Farm, for the local community, and it's named after the variety of strawberry, which is unique to the Wilkin Estate at Tiptree, Essex.

After 7 fantastic festivals, over 9 years, we wanted to reflect on the fun that we have had, the money that has been raised for local charities, and to thank those who have come along to support the festival throughout the years.

It’s time to give the team a temporary break as we appreciate the time, effort and cost that it takes to make this such a lovely event.

The goodwill and generosity of the festival family have helped us to create wonderful experiences and we are grateful for all who have helped with this lovely event, offering their time and services.

We'll keep you posted for our future events but, for now, have a great summer! 🍓🎶🍓🎶🍓🎶🍓🎶🍓

🍓🎶 Little Scarlet Music Festival 2024 🍓🎶
We did it - despite the howling wind, it was a sold out event! We're very proud to be a part of such a great festival each year and we’d like to say an enormous THANK YOU to all that came along, enjoyed, worked, and supported the day 🥰

Sincere thanks for the live music from SKA TOWN SYNDICATE, Mr B & The Wolf, East Creek Union, JAMJARBand, The Other Party, Ecto Peach, & KYDS Youth Drama Society. We also had all kinds of music from various performers at The Busk Stop stage, curated and run by Maria Barnes & Daryl Gayford, with help from Adam. The Suffolk Circus Project had kids of all ages entertained with various antics, including crafts, pillow fights, and tug of war. Impressions Hoopers, as always, was a huge hit with everyone - we’re all children at heart, right?

The people behind the scenes that make all this happen (and apologies if we've forgotten anyone): Jeanette Lynes, Ian Barrett, Jamie Anderson, Production Intelligence, Nick Olver, Maria Barnes, The Old House Photography Andre Kimche, Emily Green, Michelle Jayne Connolly, Rusty Russell, Black Cactus Studio, Gareth David Hall, Oakpark Security Systems Ltd & St John Ambulance.

Thanks to all the stall holders, food outlets, and bars. Special personal thanks for gifts from Pinky Moonflower Mehndi, Lizzie Bing and My Thai Chef Melford 🥰🙏

But most of all, a huge THANK YOU to all of the directors, management and staff at Wilkin & Sons/Tiptree who work tirelessly to make it all happen before, during, and after the festival - they are stars ✨ especially Liz Baker and Dan Waskett.
All proceeds, and we mean every penny, will be going to this year's chosen charity, Tiptree Community Hub.

If you are offered tickets from anyone, please be aware, there are only physical tickets and they are the actual wristbands. It is not possible to buy or swap online.

Tickets have sold out at our outlets but we kept a few back for sale on the gate. You'll need to get there early to ensure you get one. Gates open at 12:30pm and the festival starts at 1pm.

Our festival has been lucky enough to have KYDS Youth Drama Society open the main stage for several years. We love to have them perform a couple of tunes from their recent productions and, this year, they'll be from 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' 😍🎶

We are so excited to be performing at the Little Scarlet Festival at the end of August. It's always such a fab event and we LOVE being part of it! Don't forget to buy your tickets and we'll see you there!

We're also having a tombola stall there to help with our fundraising efforts. If you're coming along to the event, please come along and visit our stall too.
