We are pleased to announce the UPF UK Peace Council 2025, an annual gathering to review our peace initiatives, receive updates from UPF UK Associations and branches, and outline our shared direction for 2026.

Since April 2023, Sudan has suffered immense devastation — cities destroyed, families torn apart, over 13 million displaced, and blocked. The violence continues, but the world looks away.

UPF-UK joins 𝗗𝗿. 𝗧𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗱, International President of the Universal Peace Federation, in sounding the alarm. This is not just a political crisis — it is a moral .

🕊️ As part of our 100-Day Campaign leading to the International Day of Peace, we call on:

* Armed groups to end the fighting and protect civilians.
* Faith leaders to unite in reconciliation.
* Communities to rebuild trust.
* Governments and international bodies to act decisively — with food, aid, and diplomacy.

is not a one-time event — it’s a commitment we must renew every day.

🌍 Sudan’s people are not forgotten. Their resilience calls for our solidarity — not pity, but purpose.

𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲; Fostering Dialogue and Reconciliation on the Korean Peninsula

As the U.S.–South Korea summit on August 24 approaches with its focus on military postures, UPF’s Northeast Asia Peace Initiative (NEAPI) highlights what security talks often overlook: the human, cultural, and emotional dimensions of peace.

Rooted in the vision of interdependence, mutual prosperity, and shared values, NEAPI promotes dialogue, cultural exchange, and citizen-led diplomacy to help heal the 75-year divide on the Korean Peninsula.

UPF calls for collective action from leaders in Seoul, Pyongyang, Washington, Beijing, Tokyo, and Moscow—reminding us that while defense ensures security, only dialogue, understanding, and cooperation can make peace permanent.
