Tadley Runners are a friendly running group based in Tadley in the North East of Hampshire. New members are always welcome!

Tadley Runners is a small, friendly club dedicated to all aspects of road running including Cross Country and Ultra-Distances. Some members also take part in Duathlons and Triathlons. While some members run just for fitness reasons. The club has runners of all abilities. The club meets twice a week at 7.00pm on Mondays and Wednesdays for normal runs and also some Thursdays for interval training at the Hurst Leisure Centre which provides changing and social facilities. There are a normally a range of different distances and pace at these club sessions. Keep an eye on the page or website as we sometimes meet at a pub instead ;-)

We are situated in North East Hampshire, approximately 50 miles west of London, 15 miles South West of Reading and 7 miles North of Basingstoke. New members of all abilities are always welcome

Our first event this weekend was over in Greenland, where Tasj completed her 100th marathon at the Polar Circle Marathon. Followed the next day by the Polar Circle Half Marathon!

Over in Ireland, Kate and Anita ran the Dublin Marathon.

And back in England, Ben ran a personal best at the Maidenhead 10K.

No medal for this one, but a few members of the cub ran 16 miles between stations on the Circle line on Friday as part of Gary’s Parkinson’s challenges.

Paul, Bonnie, Emily, and Jenny completed the Great South Run in Portsmouth, with Emily and Bonnie achieving new 10 mile PBs!

Emily L also achieved a new marathon PB at the Abingdon Marathon!

And finally, Steve ran the Henley Half Marathon.

A whole host of races this weekend!🏃

At FOOBS, Rob, Bonnie and Jenny ran the 10k and Andrea ran the 6k route!

Anita took on another marathon this weekend at the ‘Thou Shalt Run’ event.

Up at the Oxford Half, Jacob ran a PB half marathon!

And a whole team of runners represented Tadley Runners at the start of the Thames Valley Cross Country 2026/27 league in Uxbridge.

Amazing running from all!

A lot to celebrate this week! 🎉

Lizzie and Dan ran the Kingston Half with a PB for Lizzie and a second fastest half for Dan!

A double marathon weekend for Tasj, who completed the Phoenix Think Pink event to make up her 98th and 99th marathons! Anita and Kate joined her on Sunday, with Anita taking on the full marathon and Kate the half!

And finally in Basingstoke, Rob, Bonnie, Emily and David ran the Basingstoke 10k. And Dave, Paula, Claire, David and Andrea completed the Basingstoke Half!

Amazing running, everyone!

This weekend some of our runners travelled over to Germany to take on the Berlin Marathon, one of the World Marathon Majors!

Well done Kate, Tasj, Anita, Ben and Gary. You all did amazing! 🏅

Some great running from the club over the weekend!

At the AGM for the 100 Marathon Club, Anita and Tasj ran a marathon each.

To round off the Element Series by Big Feat, Alex completed the Big Sky Ultra and Paul ran the 18 miler.

A whole mix of events this weekend for today’s Medal Monday! 🏅

Anita ran the Farnham Pilgrim marathon, which I hear is ‘slightly’ hilly!

Across the North Sea in Tampere, Finland, Tracey ran the half marathon, whilst Pete took on the full marathon.

And closer to home, Alex ran a 10K, as well as swimming and cycling the standard distances at Reading Triathlon.

Tash, Anita, Bonnie and Kate took part in the Tapyard Ultra 50k running from Ramsbury Brewery to Renegade Brewery!

At the Overton 5 mile road race Rob S, David L, Dave R, Tony, Rob H, Paula, Paul and Alex H completed the hilly course and won their colourful cloth race memento!

Well done everyone, you did amazing!

Instead of a weekend race, some of our runners decided to take on the Thruxton Relay Race midweek!

David, Tony, Stuart, Bonnie, Christine, Alice, Lindsey and Emily took part with two teams of four, each running one lap of the track.

Well done, a great effort from all!

It was all happening in Southampton at the Big Pilgrimage event!

Alex completed the 15 mile course.

Bonnie and Tash both took on the full marathon, while Paul was there helping as a marshal.
