Sadly, we have decided that Great Ashby Festival will not return in 2026.
Events such as this require a lot of team work and unfortunately there were not enough people interested in volunteering to make it happen.
Who knows what the future will bring, but for now, we will be signing off.

TONIGHT! TONIGHT! TONIGHT!
If you are interested in bringing back the Great Ashby Festival Fun Day in 2026, please come along to our meeting this evening.
As well as putting together the organising team, we will be chatting about what activities we'd like to see to make this a really fun day for our community.
Date: Monday 22nd September
Time: 7.30pm
Venue: Hall 3, Great Ashby Community Centre. [Use the main entrance and turn left inside.]

We are hoping to be back with a Festival Fun Day in July 2026, but WE NEED YOU to make it happen!
We are currently putting together a team of volunteers to plan, organise and run the event and make sure that it goes ahead.
Our main focus right now is looking for people to join the organising team. Our plan is to meet just once a month to start with, with probably a few more meetings as we get nearer to the day.
No experience is necessary, just the enthusiasm and willingness to make this a fun event for the Great Ashby community.
We are holding a meeting at 7.30pm NEXT MONDAY (22nd September) in Hall 3 of Great Ashby Community Centre for anyone that would like to join us or wants to find out more.

We look forward to seeing lots of you at the meeting.

Unbelievably, our last festival was way back in 2018. But we hope to be back in 2026!
Organising an event like this takes a team and without one, it can't happen.
That's where we need you.
We are at the very early stages of putting a team of volunteers together to plan, organise and run the event.
No experience necessary, just the enthusiasm and willingness to make this a fun event for the Great Ashby community.
