We are incredibly grateful to St Austell Town Council for awarding Studio 4 Dance CIC a £4,000 grant to support our core running costs over the coming months 🙏💛

This support means we can continue offering: ✨ Free community sessions
✨ Reduced‑cost activities
✨ Low‑cost venue hire for community groups in St Austell town centre
✨ A safe, warm, welcoming environment for families and young people

Many families visit the Studio 4 Centre each week, and our inclusive coffee shop is used by many people looking for a safe, friendly space to connect ☕💬.
Our pop‑up play sessions continue to be popular for young families, offering a warm, accessible place for children to play and parents to meet

We’re proud to support the following: Fun Days, BID events, the Children’s Literacy Festival, Remembrance Day VIP refreshments and a range of community meetings — and this grant helps us keep doing what we love for our community 💙

A heartfelt thank you to the Council members, and to the members of the public who spoke so kindly about the impact Studio 4 has had on their families. Your support truly makes a difference!

It's 2 weeks to go until the Move and Make Friends event in St. Austell!

It's 3 weeks until the first Move and Make Friends event of 2026! However, what does this actually look like? Take a read below...

🤝 Meet friends
- The café area at Studio 4 - 4FS Youth dance/Unit 4 is a perfect place for people to settle in.
- There will be simple refreshments available like teas, coffees, biscuits and fruit.
- People can have a chat with whoever they would like to while they settle in.
- We will play some fun, simple games to get people talking too, such as sports bingo.

ℹ️ Hear about local activities
- There will be lots of easy read information to look at about local activities in the café area.
- One of our special guests - Emma from The Cornwall Bicycle Project CIO - will be bringing along some of their new equipment to show you all. This will be in the middle dance studio at Studio 4.
- You will also be able to share your ideas about getting active in the local area.

🆕 Try new things
- There will be some games equipment in different areas of Studio 4 that people can play when they would like to.
- This equipment is to encourage people to get moving a little bit.
- Another of our special guests - Angie, who delivers an activity called qigong - will be running a gentle, seated movement session for anyone who would like to take part. Nobody will be forced to take part in this.
