Another shout out for Artists to join us for Art at the House in September. This event takes place at Cliffe House in Shepley, Huddersfield.

🗓 Event Dates:
Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th September
⏰ 10am–4pm (both days)

✨ Why take part?
Art at the House is a vibrant, welcoming, curated, family-friendly arts festival—a fantastic opportunity to showcase and sell your work in a lively setting enjoyed by visitors of all ages. We’re looking for artists across a wide range of mediums, including (but not limited to):
Ceramics, Painting, Sculpture, Creative Textiles, Printmaking, Drawing, Glass, Enamel & Copper, Jewellery, Paper, and more.

🎪 What’s on offer:
• Run your own stall
• Sell your artwork and handmade goods
• Promote your practice to a broad, diverse audience
• (Optional) Host a workshop if your medium allows
Our aim is to inspire creativity in both adults and children, creating a fun, inclusive atmosphere while supporting artists with a vibrant space to share and sell their work.

General Applications for artists to exhibit at Art at the House Arts Festival are now open. If you would like to apply, please use the link or the QR code on the images to apply (link also available below).

The event runs on Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th September 10-4 both days.

Why exhibit at Art at the House?

Art at the House is an Arts Festival for all the family to attend. We are looking for artists from all artistic mediums, including Ceramics, Painting, Sculpture, Creative Textiles, Print-making, Drawing, Glass, Enamel & Copper and Jewellery, Paper and any others we may have missed.

We would love you to show off your art, create sales and if you are able run a workshop of your craft (if the medium allows). We hope to inspire adults and children to be creative, even if it’s just for the day.

The things everyone doesn’t see, the aftermath of Artatthehouse. This was my garden today drying the bunting from the weekend. Next is to repair in places and repackage for next year.

Nigel & I would like to thank you all, Artists, volunteers & visitors a like without any of you Artatthehouse wouldn’t be as successful as it is. This year will be remembered as the one that should have been washed out but wasn’t because there was a desire by all to make it work…

Cliffe Housefor allowing us to use their beautiful grounds and staff in helping set up/take down.

The Sons of the North for stepping in at relatively short notice and providing great refreshments.

Cllr John Taylorfor braving the elements and manning our car park as always.

Erin from HD8 Life CIC who has supported us with social media for the last 3 months and providing us with photograph for future promotions.

Merewyn from Work Rest or Play in HD8 Facebook group who has also supported our social media platforms and will be able to push our vision forward in the future.

Finally we would both like to thank our close family members, who allow and support us to run this event in the weeks leading up to it, without their backing we couldn’t do what we do.
