Shenington Super Prix

All through practice showed strong pace. Unfortunately changing to new tyres for qualifying cost me 4 tenths leaving me in P12.

Heat 1 good pace and a good drive saw me get into P5 up 7 places.

Due to the format had to start heat 2 back in qualifying position in 12th. This heat was a mess from the start. Should have been a false start but it wasn’t leaving us way behind the leaders this was followed by a red flag. Hope you are ok . P9 was the best we could manage.

Started the final in P5 unfortunately due to either heat or carb struggled for top end speed but managed to keep not to far off those in front but just couldn’t get further forward. Carnage though on the last lap just like last year saw me drive through it and come out in P4.

Well done to for a rapid fastest lap! Also to on the win.

Thanks also to the organisers for putting on a brilliant event on and off the track. Good laugh with my mates was worth missing prom for.

As always massive thanks to and Dad on the spanner’s for all your support.

Pics & and obviously mum!

HKRC Round 6

Solid weekend at Kimbolton testing out a different chassis. Thanks to Mick Whitton for the help on set up.

Qualified in P5 and had good pace all day particularly in heat 1 where I had 3rd fastest lap. Finished the final in P6 though it looked at one stage that P4 was on the cards.

Congratulations on good win.

Thanks to for the support as always.

Looking forward to Super Prix this weekend .

Round 3 British Kart Championship

Starting to think this championship is cursed for me.

Qualifying couldn’t get in a clean lap which left me in P16

Heat 1 a kart span ahead of me leaving me nowhere to go and way back from everyone else managed to put in a solid drive from P19 to P12 but a drop down from the carnage left me back in P16

Heat 2 once again set back on the first corner by other karts ahead colliding meaning I only made it to P13

Final got off to a better start but I lost so much power leaving me falling further and further back.

Frustrating that the championship has brought me nothing but bad luck so far but happy with progress made this weekend even if the results didn’t show it.

Onto Kimbolton this weekend.

Massive thanks to Rob and Kath for all the help this weekend

British Kart Championship Round 2

Always knew this would be a tough round as I’d never been to the track and even had to miss the Friday practice. A tough and technical track to learn on top.

Saturday practice looked like we might be able to push into the top 10 but had a really disappointing qualifying.

Heat 2 started to look like we were finding better pace but a narrow track makes over takes tough.

Final it started to rain started got a good start to the race making my way up to 9th but had a spin leaving me in no mans land. Managed to finish the race at least I guess.

We will bounce back and hopefully show my true pace in coming rounds.

Well done to my team mate on P4 always rapid in the wet!

Thanks to everyone at RSR for the the help but this is one to forget!! That’s racing!!

This weekend see's my biggest karting challenge yet as I go to Round 2 of the British Karting Championship at Warden Law in Sunderland. This is a track I've never been too. Friday is a practice day but unfortunately due to my Math's GCSE exam I can't attend which puts us on a back foot but we'll do what we can. Full coverage/live streaming will be on youtube and facebook via Alpha Timing on Sunday.

After a spectacular start to the Motorsport UK Wera Tools British Kart Championships at Shenington, Warden Law plays host to the next round of the 2022

Great practice day shame it’s rain forecast for tomorrow but great pace today, great weather and great fish n chips to end the day. Whatever happens tomorrow it’s been a good one!

Round 1 of British Kart Championship didn't go to plan.

Kart issues all through saturday practice meant a poor qualifying result. The heats weren't much better but pace improved through heat 2 showing we were on the right track with what the issues were.

Unfortunately it was too late and I had to start the final on the back row. Something I've never had to do from qualifying.

The good news was the issues were resolved and I got a flying start with purple laps and rapid pace but had plenty of catching up to do. Finished in P7 but disappointed as I feel it could have been much more.

Here's a video of some of the highlights of the final.

Massive thanks to my dad on the spanners and Rob & Kath at our team RSR for persevering to fix the issues.
