Shelford Street Market - Sunday 8th July 2018 Shelford street market is an event part of the Shelford feast. It is held every two years with moneys raised being fed back into the local community.

Shelford Street Market will be held this year on Sunday 6 July 2014 and applications from stall holders are being invited. For more details contact Jane Hodder [email protected]. Refreshments will be available at the village hall and at The Earl of Chesterfield. All kinds of stalls from Bric-a-brac, flower stalls, tools antiques ect. The Earl of Chesterfield will be holding its annual beer f

estival this weekend with some live entertainment. Traditional Sunday lunch will be served though booking is highly recommended. BBQ and bar snacks available for the more casual experience.

Preparations have begun for the flower festival. This years theme is 'Elizabethans of our time' and we have displlays based on
Time Peake, Sir Steve Redgrave, Sir Patrick Moore, Mary Berry, Julia Donaldson, Lady Margaret Thatcher, Dame Ellen MacArthur, Victoria Wood, Sir Winston Churchill and J. K. Rowling. We also have a record 38 pew ends which are arranged in memory of a loved one. The flower festival starts from 10 oclock this Saturday to 2pm Monday. Photos to follow on Saturday.
