Throwback to last Friday, 12th June, when we had the honour of organising the post film screening reception for MKO: The Documentary on behalf of director The Ose , who reached out to us all the way from the USA to support the UK premiere of his film MKO Documentary
Grateful to the awesome and selfless people at Utopia Theatre for hosting the reception yet preparing for their latest production, The Swamp Dwellers. The transformation of the creative hub space is something special. You can really feel the amount of care, detail, and work that has gone into it. Please do check out their page for more info and tickets, this is one you don’t want to miss.

We were also proud to feature live music from renowned saxophonist Adedoyin Oseni and delicious small chops from RB Tasties.
Big love to the crew from Arise News ARISE News including Seyitan Atigarin for coming through and covering the evening live, alongside African Voices Platform African Voices Platform through the beautiful Tchiyiwe Thandiwe Chihana who were there to document the screening and reception so beautifully.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do, bringing people together through culture, film, music, and shared experience.
