So we have compiled a few statistics from our road trip and some feelings on some of the stadiums we visited. Please take these as personal feelings appreciate that others will have different thoughts.

Stadiums Visited: 92
Days to complete: 9
Total miles covered: 2603
Hours spent driving: 76 hours 6 mins
Longest single day mileage: 445.8
Longest day spent driving: 11 hours 44 mins
kWh used through trip: 550

Favourite Stadium: Stamford Bridge because of the entrance and layout, location to underground for fans and the security were helpful

Most impressive Stadium: Etihad Stadium, just a wow factor, lighting and design with the expansion of the stadium being really impressive

Most accommodating Stadium: Chesterfield, really nice reception, taken through to the pitch and allowed to sit in the dugout.
Extra shout out to both Newport who took us to the edge of the pitch even though the Newport Knights were playing a game and also to Harrogate who's staff were so proud and excited to show us the pitch and ground

Least accessible Stadium, Brentford just because there was no easy access to the stadium to stop and get pictures, had to do a drop off and get a bystander to take the pic

Hardest Stadium to get to: Barrow, so off the beaten trail, traveling through the Lake District although beautiful on a normal day was draining when it poured down with rain and was 80 miles to the next destination

Most under whelming Stadium: Tottenham Stadium, although a magnificent structure it is so bland with minimal branding other than in monotone colours

Most helpful stewards: Newcastle United. Saved our day 8, even though they had all the security in place for a league match against Crystal Palace they let us park up and take the pictures and then wished us luck on the completion of the challenge

Worst stadium: Sorry we have our views on this but is probably unfair to name

Money Raised to Date: We have raised a magnificent £675 through go fund me, exceeding our original target of £450. We both thank all that have followed our challenge and to those that have contributed.

The penultimate day completed. From Manchester to Preston, then to the three clubs on the west coast before going into Cumbria and lastly crossing from the west to the east coast to finish in Middlesbrough tonight. Daily mileage 346.1 miles @ 26.3 kWh per 100 miles, mainly due to travelling through Cumbria and motorway miles. Total miles to date: 2281.9, only tomorrow left to travel back to Yorkshire before finishing at Brigg Town Football Club CIC hopefully at approx 6.30 pm

So Day 7 completed. 16 Stadiums in 260 miles at 23.7 kWh per 100 miles. That means we have now completed 73 out of 92 Stadiums with just 2 days to complete the road trip. We have now covered 1935.8 miles. Today has been tough, both feeling tired and saddle sore but by completing the day feel ready for day 8 crossing from the west coast and cumbria over to Newcastle, Sunderland and Middlesbrough.

Day 6 completed, from South Wales to Swindon then into the Midlands and Finishing in Shrewsbury. 9 Stadiums visited and after a recount that makes 57 stadiums completed and 35 left for the remaining 3 days of the challenge. Tomorrow sees us reducing that number by an amazing 16 stadiums starting at Stoke and moving through the Potteries up to Wrexham and then through the Liverpool and Manchester areas.
Today we covered 280 miles with efficiency at the best through the trip at 24 kWh per 100 miles and used 67.2 kWh of electricity

14/04/2025

Day 6 from South Wales and up into the Midlands. Very slow traffic and after6 hours we have only covered 4 of the nine stadiums for the day. Currently in Birmingham after just visiting St Andrews, next stop Aston Villa. Already covered majority of the miles today (221) with about 50 more to go as the remaining 5 stadiums are reasonably close
