We'll have a raffle at this years fayre. Once again a very generous resident has donated £200 cash as the first prize. A number of businesses have also very generously donated items for prizes. We're very lucky to have so many generous people 🥰

You can buy tickets in person at the fayre - Ryton Summer Fayre 2026, from us if you see us at The Cross or Ryton Cricket Club. We also have a number available to purchase online if you would like to enter but can't make the fayre. You can buy them online from our SumUp store - https://christmas-for-ryton.sumupstore.com/product/summer-fayre-2026-raffle-ticket-1

If buying online please provide your email address, or preferably a phone number, so we can let you know your ticket number/s but also so we can contact you if you've won. You can also message our page and we can send a photo of your tickets.

Tickets are £1 each.

📣 3 weeks to go to Ryton Summer Fayre 2026 📣

We’ve got a fantastic afternoon planned

🎶 12-2pm local singers
🎤2-3pm Ryton Singers

🦮 1.30pm fun dog show

⛳️mini golf in the tennis court all afternoon

🍻 Ye Olde Cross on the bar

🥧🍰 in the pavilion

🦙all afternoon

We’ll have fundraising stalls at the top of the park

We’ll have a range of local charities and business with stalls

This year we’re supporting our local scouts in their efforts to raise money to repair the roof on their hut. You’ll find them smashing plates and toasting marshmallows in the football area

This event is organised by the community for the community. All money raised will go towards the village Christmas lights.

This year in the football pitch we'll have Ryton Scouts. They're raising money to repair the roof on the scouts hut. We're delighted to welcome them to Ryton Summer Fayre 2026, all money spent in the football pitch area will go towards the Scouts. They're planning some exciting activities including plate smashing and roasting marshmallows, we can't wait!!

Golden Oldie class added for our fun dog show 🦮🐕‍🦺🐈
We love our four legged friends and would love if you would bring yours to Ryton Summer Fayre 2026 and show them off. The fun dog show was fantastic fun last year, let’s make it bigger and better this year 😄

4 weeks to go to Ryton Summer Fayre 2026 🎉🎉 we’ve got some great stalls for local charities and businesses.

Thank you so much to our very generous community for your donations to our tombola and bottle tombola.

Ye Olde Cross will be providing the bar and we’ll have hot drinks in the pavilion 🍻🍮

Last year was such a lovely event, please do come along.

We'll have a fun dog show at Ryton Summer Fayre 2026. Bring your cutest pup, your chattiest dog or if it's been raining and your dog has fun in the mud please do bring your scruffiest dog 🐾🐕🐩🦮🐕‍🦺
Every dog is welcome, we don't care about perfect proportions or how close to the pedigree ideal your perfect pooch is, just bring them along and enjoy some fun while raising money for the community Christmas lights and activities 😄

This years fayre is shaping up beautifully 😄 Well have:
- local singers
- fun dog show
- games
- alpacas
- Ye Olde Cross beer stall
- local charity stalls
- local business stalls

This year Ryton Scouts will be in the football pitch area. They’ll be raising money to repair the roof on the scouts hut (old pit baths at Barmoor). Join them for a smashingly good time and maybe even roast a marshmallow 😉

This year we’re hoping to run a
- tombola
- bottle tombola
- Christmas stall

We’d love donations of good quality items that we could use on these stalls. Would you have any of the following that you could consider donating:
- unopened sweets
- unopened bottles (water, wine, beer even vinegar!)
- unopened smellies
- good condition toys
- good condition Christmas decorations

These are just suggestions. We’d be very happy for any good condition items you’d consider donating. Please do get in touch to arrange drop off/collection 😊

The fayre is organised by Christmas for Ryton. All money raised goes towards our village Christmas lights and activities.

At the fayre we held a writing competition for our children, we asked them what would they like to see in Ryton. The children had clearly put a lot of effort into their answers and produced excellent work. From their answers there were 3 things that stood out that our children want.
1. A zoo
2. Crazy mini golf
3. A castle
We applied to the Tesco blue token scheme to raise some money towards delivering these dreams for our children. We’re currently available as a choice in Rowlands Gill and Whickham Tesco stores. We’re one of three projects available to choose from. The project with the most votes gets £1,500. You can vote for us by buying something from either of those Tescos and getting a blue token, then go put that blue token in the slot for the project called ‘Listening to our children’ 😊

We need your help to win this. Our first plan is an animal fun day in Ferndene Park. Help us achieve this and make our children happy 🐐🐴🦙🐹
