🎸 BAND SPOTLIGHT: Who are SkullMaiden?🎸

Looking for something heavy & melodic? Meet Skullmaiden! hailing from just across the water in Southampton!

They have coined the term "heavy-power metal" to describe their unique sound, blending melodic power metal foundations with aggressive, extreme metal elements. The result is a sound that is diverse, beautiful, and absolutely crushing.

Their April 2025 debut single "Until I Sleep" picked up massive airplay in the UK and USA, earning them the title of Rockhammer’s 'Find Of The Week' on TotalRock. The debut EP Dreamwalker dropped in late 2025 and has already racked up over 15,000 streams from fans worldwide. They have built a fierce reputation on the live circuit, sharing stages with stellar underground acts like Awake by Design, Rogue Awakening, and The Rattlebacks.They have been spending 2026 bringing the epic sound of Dreamwalker across the UK, and they are landing on the Isle of Wight this November.

If your playlist is packed with classic, old-school heavy metal but you are craving something fresh, it’s time to meet Wailing Banshee!

Forged in the underground circuit, this explosive five-piece band is capturing the raw, galloping energy of the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) era and throwing it straight into 2026. After tearing up stages across Manchester, Leeds, and London, they are finally bringing their legendary live show across the water to the Isle of Wight! What do they sound like? Think thunderous dual-guitar heroics, blistering riffs, and the absolutely commanding vocals of frontwoman Dani Louise. Their signature sound blends soaring, melodic power with dark, occult storytelling.
