Creating something to be proud of...

Rowhedge has an amazing community and some really fantastic events throughout the year. We wanted to add to this impressive calendar that our little village holds. So in 2017, a Rowhedge Fireworks Display volunteer committee was set up and our first event was held. We set the bar high and started on an absolute high. We pride ourselves with concentration to detail and to most of all stick to our main ethos... For Families.

Our goal was to create a more family friendly Fireworks Display. Something that launched it’s fireworks earlier so families of all ages could enjoy them and not have to stay up late to watch them. We opted for a time of 6pm and to have the event on a Sunday. In November the nights are dark early and there is no need to wait until late to let off the fireworks. Our event enables young children to enjoy themselves and still be back home and in bed at a reasonable hour. Our focus is always about families.

With members of our team coming from an Events Planning and Advertising/Marketing backgrounds we started with our best foot forward. We didn’t just want any old fireworks display, we wanted to create something to be proud of... Something our Village of Rowhedge could be proud of. Thinking of everything from getting people through the gates quickly to keeping everyone entertained while they wait for the main event. We continue to evolve and update every year, getting better and better. We want our visitors to have the best experience at our event and feel that they have got so much more than just a fireworks display.
