The Family Running Festival is a running event for all the family to support West Chiltington School

What an incredible event yesterday!

Our first Family Running Festival was a huge success with everyone having a tonnes of fun that even the thunder and lightening couldn’t dampen!

Results are starting to go up on the website now. We’ll also share more images and footage of the event over the next few days.

Huge thank you to everyone who took part, our race Directors, all our amazing volunteers and sponsors, without you this wouldn’t have been possible!

Bib collection and carpark open at 8.30am. Please follow the parking attendants instructions and use the LARGE carpark only.

There's only one day to go until the Family Running Festival in West Chiltington!

Between 9am-12pm on Sunday 17th September there will be sections of 3 roads closed in West Chiltington to ensure runner safety.

If you live nearby and need to leave the area during this time, please ensure your car is moved away from these roads before 9am.

Similarly, if you're local and planning a trip, please avoid passing through this part of the village during the closure period.

Will you be our 100th runner this weekend?

We currently have 99 runners registered, will it be you who becomes the 100th?

Registration closes at 6pm on Saturday 16th September so don't miss out on your place, register today. Not only could you be our 100th runner you will also get a finishers medal, cake, refreshments and your run timed. (children running the two shorter distances will get a personalised digital certificate instead of a medal)

Just 1 week until our first ever Family Running Festival! Will you be a part of it?

MEDALS!

If you are taking part in our 5k or 10k race next Sunday you’ll get a finishers medal!

Children taking part in either the 2-looper or toddler races will get a digital certificate. We I’ll also have medals for the fastest 3 children in age categories.

EVERYONE will get free cake and tea/coffee/squash!

Are you planning to take part in our 10k or 5k races on 17th September around the gorgeous West Sussex countryside?

Children can be registered on the day for the 2-looper or 200m tiddler sprint, but all 5k and 10k race participants must pre-register

Here are the timings of what is happening on the 17th September:

08.30 - bib collection opens
09.20 - 5k and 10k race warm-up
09.30 - 5k and 10k races start
12.00 - 2-looper (1.2km) event starts
12.30 - Tiddler 200m event starts
14.00 - Festival finishes

All race participants will receive a free piece of cake and a drink (tea/coffee/water/squash)

In addition to the races there will be food vans, a bouncy castle, an osteopath and many more exciting things
