From our Electrical and Product Engineers to Manufacturing Test and Support Engineers, and not forgetting our talented Engineering Apprentices, this team plays a crucial role in developing and sustaining our high-volume automated production environment.

This teams expertise, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail is embodied in the high-quality and short lead-times that set DD-Scientific apart from other sensor manufacturers.

Led by our Engineering Manager, Roy, the team thrives on collaboration, technical excellence, and a constant drive for improvement. It’s their dedication behind the scenes that keeps our products performing at the highest standard.

Today, we’re taking a moment to recognise one of our engineers, Amelia, whose journey is a great example of the value of apprenticeships and the diverse paths into engineering.

Amelia started her career with us as an Engineering Apprentice, developing her skills through hands‑on experience and learning from the team around her. After recently returning from travelling, she’s now back applying that knowledge and perspective as part of our engineering team.

We’re proud to support engineers at every stage of their journey and to celebrate the contributions of women in engineering who help shape our products and our future.

🎉 Today we’re celebrating several milestones in our Engineering team at DD-Scientific.

Dan, one of our Apprentice Engineers, is marking 5 years here at DDS, Chiranda, our Electronics Engineer has now been with us for 3 years and Matt, our Manufacturing Support Engineer, is celebrating the end of his first year with the business.

A big thank you to all three for their efforts throughout the years and the contribution they make to the team. We wish you all the best for your future here at DD-Scientific.

🤝 Today we’re taking a moment to recognise our Research and Development team at DD-Scientific.

Much of our innovation starts with this group who explore new ideas, solve complex challenges, and help shape where we go next.

Led by Martin, our Research & Development Director, the team includes Terry, Senior Development Scientist, Tom, Senior Scientist, and Alex, Sensor Scientist. Collectively, they bring a vast amount of knowledge, practical experience, and enthusiasm to our business.

We’re grateful for the expertise and dedication this team brings every day as they continue to drive innovation for DD-Scientific and the industry as a whole.

👍 Precision doesn’t just happen.

Our Quality and Testing team are the ones who make sure everything is right before it moves on. As an ISO 9000 approved business, those standards aren’t just words on paper, they’re part of the day-to-day work the team carries out across testing, checks, and even managing returns when things need investigating.

We’re also lucky to have some brilliant experience in the team, including James Tremlett, our Quality Engineer, who’s now celebrating 12 years with DD-Scientific.

Congratulations to James for reaching such a big milestone and a big thank you to the whole team for the consistency and commitment you bring every day. It really does make a difference.
