Congratulations to Poole BID!
Great supporters of our vintage festival which we shall be bringing back on the 4th July 2027! 🎶

📢 Poole Business Improvement District (BID) renewed for 2026–2031.

We’re thrilled to announce that 83% of levy payers have voted in favour of the new Poole BID Business Plan — ensuring another five years of investment, collaboration, and growth for our town centre.

This renewal means around £350,000 per year will be reinvested into Poole through a 2.1% levy, supporting our shared priorities:
• A Safer, Stronger Poole
• Pride in Place
• Promoting Poole
• Supporting Growth.

A huge thank you to all businesses who took part in shaping and supporting the plan.

Together, we’ll continue making Poole a vibrant, thriving destination for residents, visitors, and businesses alike.

🎩✨ Poole Goes Vintage – Taking a Short Break in 2026 ✨🎩

After many fantastic years of music, markets, dancing and vintage magic on Poole’s streets and Quay, we’ve made the difficult decision to take a gap year in 2026.

At Stir Events CIC, we’ve worked hard over recent months, reaching out to local businesses and potential sponsors to secure the funding needed to deliver another unforgettable Poole Goes Vintage. Sadly, despite best efforts, we haven’t been able to raise the support required to bring the full event to life this year.

💛 We’d like to give a huge thank you to Poole BID, who have been brilliant supporters of the event in recent years – your backing has helped us celebrate Poole in true vintage style.

But this isn’t goodbye – it’s just a breather.
We’ll be regrouping, reimagining, and doing everything we can to bring Poole Goes Vintage back stronger than ever in 2027. 🙌

Great news!

We’ve just been awarded £376,000 from the Arts Council England Museums Renewal Fund! 🏛️🎉

This amazing support will help us level up – making the museum more flexible, creative and inspiring for all, than ever before!

We’re planning fresh new ways to collaborate with local partners, launch exciting new programming, and build a strong volunteer team that reflects our diverse community. It’s all part of our mission to lead the way in how museums contribute to cultural health and wellbeing 💪
