It was so lovely to have Ponty’s very own Côr Meibion Pontypridd in the festival.

They surprised us all by singing Stephen Merrit’s the Book of Love but it was so beautiful and a definite highlight for many of us

Elwyn Hughes is already a legend of the choir festival.

He was incredible in his communication with the choirs and his attention to detail in the planning of the festival.

On the day itself he led Côr Dysgwy’r Y Cymoedd with great style and sang beautifully with Côr Godre’r Garth in the day and evening.

We had some rain in the Mill Street Quarter but the marquee kept the choirs dry and Côr Tonteg’s beautiful harmonies lifted the spirits.

It was great to welcome them as one of a number of Welsh language choirs in the festival

We loved welcoming Sing With Us Pontypridd ( Tenovus choir ) to the Mill Street Quarter in the Festival. They were a credit to the charity they represent

We were all blown away by More Than Music Cymru’s Glee Club in the festival.

They were a singer short and it was their very first public performance but nothing phases these girls.

You were brilliant girls. Thanks for singing for us. See you on a much bigger stage soon
