What a day of Futsal games we had today!!

We started with the U11s mixed, hosting 5 teams with SB Frankfort x2, Lakeside Athletic, MAP Juniors and ETC Girls.

Results were all over and it all came down to the final group game to determine who would join MAP Juniors in the final game. Lakeside Athletic were in pole position to progress before the final game but the ETC Girls won their final game to jump to the top of the table, booking their place in the final to face MAP Juniors.

In the final, it was a brilliant one! Both teams going at it but the ETC Girls stole it and came away winners.

In the second round of games we hosted U11 Girls with SB Frankfort, YMCA All Saints and MAP Marine Academy Plymouth Juniors U11 Girls x2

Some great matches between all the sides also saw the last group game decide who would advance to play YMCA in the final, MAP Blues needing a win to progress....they certainly made sure of that and got the job done.

In the final between YMCA and MAP Blues, it seemed that MAP may had won it in normal time but YMCA rallied back to take the final to dreaded penalties!

MAP Blues buried their chances and won the shootout to put an end to a day of some brilliant matches and finals drama!

Well done and thank you to all of the teams who played today, you've all represented your clubs in the best possible way and you are all a credit to your clubs!

Well done to the teams today! Bit slippery but pushed through the games!

First we had Torpoint, SB Frankfort, Elm United Girls U10 and ETC Girls.

Some goals flowed and the girls certainly took to the boys with Elm Girls taking the crown of the Draw Queens!

It was close for the final with all teams possibly progressing before the final group game. Torpoint edged it with a final win in the last group game and progressed to face SB in the final.

SB took it to Torpoint and were clinical in their finishing to win the final! Well done to SB and the participants for a grear morning of games.

In the second games with the U9 Girls, we hosted SB Frankfort, Morley Rangers and ADC Girls.

It was a case of pressing high and putting your opponents under pressure to get the goals with the ADC Girls topping the table along with SB in second. Morley were ever improving and tried to play out from the back, hats off to them for perservering and sticking to their game plan!

SB and the ADC Girls battled it out in the final with the ADC Girls becoming the eventual winners, a closely fought game with plenty of goals for both sides.

Well done to all teams today! We look forward to more exciting games next weekend!

📣📣 Shout Out - Five Star Trophies 📣📣

Big thank you to Ross at Five Star Trophies who have supplied us with these lovely trophies for us to give out to our winners in the Futsal games!

The first two recepients of these will be Ugborough and Saltash United who won at last Sundays games!

If your team is interested in Futsal and would like to participate, please dont hesitate to get in touch and we will see what we can organise for you.

What a day Sunday was!!

Slight tweek to the format which added some hightened drama and upped the stakes!
Top two teams playing one more game in a final!

U11s Div 3/4

We saw Morley Girls, Elm Utd, Plymouth Parkway and Ugborough battle it out in the group stages with Parkway and Ugborough playing in the final. An 8 goal thriller in normal time saw the final go to dreaded penalties where Ugborough edged it on penalties!

U11s Div 1

Returning teams Sherford Vale, Morley Juniors, Morley Youth and Saltash Titans all battled it out in the group stages with Saltash and Morley Juniors both progressing to the finals.

Saltash took their chances and ran away winners, bringing an end to the days games full of goals and drama!

Well done to all of the teams who took part and the winners of the tournaments.

We go again this Sunday with U9s Girls and U10s!

We had a blast last sunday with a number of teams playing.

Hosting U11s and U13 Girls. Well done to all teams involved!

Tomorrow we welcome back U9 Girls and U10s which we are sure to have some cracking games!

Sunday 25th January

Was the time for U12s mixed and U9s mixed....very competitive games and lots of goals scored!

First was the U12s mixed with a few Argyle Girls teams involved, the ADC U12s x2, Plymouth Pilgrims and Plymouth Kolts.

The U9s followed with ETC Girls, Inter City and Horrabridge Rangers.

Well done to all teams involved!

Look forward to hosting U13 Girls and U11s mixee next weekend!

Some fantastic games and passages of play. Goals in every game with some outrageous efforts. Well done teams and I look forward to seeing you all again!

It was time for the U11s today! We welcomed the return of some very familiar faces, who took part with us last year, and we also hosted some new teams!

First session we welcomed back Morley Rangers Girls and Elm Utd but also saw the first time participation of Marjon and Plymouth Kolts!

Second session we also welcomed back Morley Rangers Juniors and Sherford Vale, whilst Saltash United Titans and Morley Rangers Youth were the fresh faces.

Some fantastic futsal on display at times and some feisty encounters as well!

Well done to all teams and we look forward to hosting you all again in the near future!

We now turn out attention to next Sunday where we host U10s mixed and U11 Girls.

*We're Back!!*

Exactly a year ago to this very day we started our first ever Futsal games programmes between grassroots sides. We saw loads of teams from a variety of different age groups take part and decided, at the end of April, to pause for the Summer.

We planned to return in September but other things had to come first, which caused a delay.

Today, however, we returned and was back to it, hosting a number of new teams:

U10s - Elm United Girls U10, SB Frankfort AFC and Torpoint AFC

U9 Girls - Ivybridge Town, Morley Rangers, SB Frankfort AFC and Elm United.

Some great action on display: passing and moving football, outstanding saves and brilliant goals.

It was brilliant to see some local, grassroots teams back to playing football after the Christmas break!!

Massive thanks to Ernesettle Hall for letting us use the venue for these games!

We look forward to going again next weekend with more teams!

We've had a brilliant uptake since the start of this year with the futsal games.....we've seen some fantastic things in the games...from the individual moments of magic to the outstanding team performances...it's been a privilege to watch!

We now take the summer to have a break, re-organise and come back better with changes! The Futsal games will return at the start of the new season (September) and we look forward to posting more great things then!

Thank you to all of the teams who took part since the start of the year, it's been a privilege to host you and you have all represented your clubs brilliantly!
