Everyday is a learning day so today we are at University of Plymouth building our XXL with wing decks and the 6 metre rampon top of what was the Brunel engineering workshops (RIP). We were joined in today by Nub Sound Ltd who will be leading a lecture on making stuff loud and flashy in preparation for the UPSU Summer ball.

It is always a pleasure to take our XXL down to Dartmouth for the Dart Music Festival . Bit of a tight squeeze but with some expert driving we shoehorn the 10m x 6 metre and 7 metre tall structure into place as if the trees grew around it. The festival is free and has a fantastic lineup. It is on all this weekend in the fabulous town of Dartmouth. Feel free to send us your photos. thanks to the main stage sponsor Bays Brewery .

Fantastic event on the banks of the Exe Estuary. Fancy cars fancy food and banging tunes. Our XXL stage will be rocking it down in the paddock.

First outing this year for the XXL down at the Monkey Tree Camp site near Newquay for our friends at Bluethunder Sound. Wind forecast for overnight Wednesday to Thursday was for 44 mph gusts so we furled the wind walls to prevent damage. The event is the Cornwall Tribute Festival and it runs tonight and Saturday.

Next up for the XXL is Dart Music Festival 15th to 17th May.

Pretty busy summer for the XXL including The Test Fest Alstock , Ruckus Festival Plymouth and The Godney Gathering Glastonbury plus loads of other events. A couple of weekends still available but dates are going fast.
