It is with a heavy heart that I write this, but it’s time.
I want to let you all know that I’ve decided that Belvoir Blast ‘ 24 was my last event. I’ve done 19 events over 10 years and have genuinely absolutely loved it.
I am extremely grateful to my friends and family that have steadfastly supported, baked, served tea, made cheese and yoghurt sarnies, cycled, put up signs, taken down signs, photographed, fixed bikes, handed out medals and offered incredible amounts of practical and emotional support.
As well as many familiar friendly faces, I’ve made many new friends along the way that keep coming back, as well as a constant stream of new riders who have enjoyed cycling in our beautiful area.
I’m now starting proper work again and bike commuting to and from Grantham and I wanting to set up a local community repair cafe means I’m going to have less time. What with the kids and their friends moving on, I think it’s time for someone else to have some fun.
It’s not big money, but a great hobby and does provide some cake money. Over the years I’ve invested a lot in all the kit I have, so I’m looking to sell it along with the website and all my planning templates, timing plans and risk assessments and contacts and loads of experience/ advice (if wanted). £sale price can be recovered in 3 events. Let me know if you know anyone that might be serious and I can talk numbers and what is included;)
Let me know if you know if anyone that might be interested in a hobby/ bit of pocket money;)
