Well done for all the hard work and generous donations of art, food, money, expertise and time. We made over £500, despite a very low attendance.
Particular thanks to Pat, Susie, Mike, Estelle, Carol and Rex who all put in so much effort, both during the event and in the preceding weeks. Huge gratitude to Diana and Tim Wayne who ran the auction with such professionalism and panache. Also to The Myrtles, who made fabulous cakes, and were simply beautiful, Rog who produced a vat of soup at no notice, and the incomparably wonderful Irin Ahmed at Curry Corner, who sent trays of delicious samosas and pakoras.
Thanks also to Graham Pullen and also to Sarah Bell and her assistant who supported with their beautiful stalls. And to the people who came along and made it an occasion.
Alana has offered to online-auction some of the remaining works, so more money could be coming our way to fund St Ives CLP's unstoppable general election campaign.
