From PINE. Into the fire.

PYR opens at Freight Island Newcastle on 6th August.

Named for the meeting point between PINE and fire, PYR is a new live-fire restaurant from Cal Byerley, Siân Byerley and Ian Waller, the team behind Michelin-starred and Green Star-awarded PINE.

Smoke. Char. Coal. Heat.

Expect day-boat fish, whole animals, vegetables from the grill and big cuts cooked over coals.

Same DNA as PINE.
